About
Anne Booty – Music Supervisor, Creative Mentor & Advisor
Anne Booty is a UK-based music supervisor, writer, vocalist and musician with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. She has worked with award-winning directors, composers and artists on a wide range of projects, developing a deep understanding of the power of music in shaping storytelling on screen.
Anne has supervised on Academy Award winning films, RTS and BAFTA nominated television documentaries and advertising campaigns for the likes of Adidas, Nike and Jaguar. As of 2026, she is the recipient of three Music+Sound Awards for her work.
Having worked across both sides of the industry, Anne brings a rare dual perspective. Before her career in music, she was a junior agent for legendary film director, Ken Russell, and script reader for BBC Comedy. As an artist and songwriter releasing music as Coco Electrik and signed to Tummy Touch / Touch Tones Publishing, she had multiple sync placements across television and advertising. Moving into catalogue management then music supervision, she has spent nearly 15 years supporting artists, composers and independent talent in navigating the complexities of sync licensing and music placement.
This breadth of experience allows Anne to offer clear, practical insight into how the creative process operates within the real-life context of the industry: from shaping a film’s musical identity to positioning music for successful placement.
Following the loss of her mother, Anne began to re-evaluate how she might be able to use her experience and creative knowledge to help artists fulfil their goals. Today, alongside her ongoing work as a music supervisor, Anne offers private advisory sessions, creative mentoring and immersive retreat experiences. She works with artists and labels/publishers looking to fine tune their offering(s) for sync and creatives navigating periods of transition, block or uncertainty.
Anne’s approach combines her decades of industry experience with a thoughtful and intuitive perspective grounded in her own creative practice. In a world drowning in AI, Anne’s work centres on the belief that creativity will always remain fundamentally human.
Whether through one-to-one sessions or retreat weekends by the sea, Anne helps individuals reconnect with their creative instincts, develop their work with confidence, and take meaningful next steps.
